SellerGenz ("we", "us", "our") provides research and tracking tools for Amazon sellers, accessible via our website (sellergenz.com) and our companion Chrome extension. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account information — when you sign up, we collect your email address and, optionally, a phone number if you choose to add one in your profile.
Billing information — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details ourselves; Stripe handles that in accordance with its own security standards.
Product tracking data — Amazon product ASINs, keywords, and competitor sellers you choose to track, along with the price/stock history we collect for them.
Usage data — basic activity logs (e.g. searches performed, features used) so we can enforce plan usage limits and improve the product.
Chrome extension — our extension works on Amazon.ae, Amazon.sa, Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and sellergenz.com pages, and uses two browser permissions: one to store your session locally on your device, and one to display SellerGenz as a side panel in your browser.
The extension stores your SellerGenz session token, account email, plan information, and your on/off preference for the extension locally on your device, so you stay signed in and don't need to reconfigure the extension every time you open it.
When you open a supported Amazon product page, the extension reads the information needed to identify that specific product - its marketplace and product ID - so it can retrieve and show you real product and profitability information for the item you're viewing. We do not read your general browsing history, and we do not build a profile of the pages you visit.
This product information is sent securely to SellerGenz's backend to look up the data shown in the extension. Product lookup and marketplace-comparison results may be temporarily cached for up to approximately 90 minutes so repeated views of the same product don't require a fresh lookup each time.
If you enter a product cost or shipping cost into the extension's profit calculator, those figures are used only on your device to calculate the result shown to you, and are never sent to our servers.
Extension activity such as which product was looked up, when, and by which account may be logged to help us maintain and troubleshoot the service; this activity log is kept for approximately 30 days.
If you choose to track a product through the extension, its details are saved to your SellerGenz account until you remove the tracked product.
Data accessed through the SellerGenz Chrome extension is used only to provide and maintain the product-analysis and profitability features described above. We do not use this data for personalized advertising, and we do not sell it. It is shared only with the service providers necessary to operate SellerGenz (see "Third-party services we use" below), or where required by law.
We use your information to operate your account, process payments, send transactional emails (subscription confirmations, trial reminders, and price/stock alerts for products you track), respond to support requests, and improve the reliability and accuracy of our tools. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run SellerGenz:
Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security terms.
We retain your account and tracked-product data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained so you can pick up where you left off if you resubscribe. You can request full account deletion at any time by contacting us.
You can update or remove your phone number and other profile details at any time from your account settings. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter using the link in any newsletter email. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, contact us using the details below.
SellerGenz is intended for business use by adults operating or managing an Amazon seller account. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
